Jewish Cards - Mazel Tov ! : B'shaah Tova can be translated to mean "in a propitious time", which implies that any type of positive occurance in life has a possibility of happening at any point in time that may be good or bad or anything in-between, and that a wish that it happens at a propitious, or "good" time has an impact on the event itself. This is also another way of saying Mazal Tov, which translates to mean ""Good Luck" or "May the Mazalos impact you (or this event) for the good." Most people who say Mazal tov usually mean to say "congratulations" or "I'm happy for you". However, "BeShah Tovah" and "Mazal Tov" have virtually the same meaning. - Zol zayn mit mazl

Gut Shabbes !

The Shofar ! - Rosh HaShanah is the day on which G-d created Man, Adam, G-d’s final and most precious creation. Each Rosh HaShanah, the birthday of Mankind, we proclaim G-d as our one and true King. We then reaffirm our desire to serve him every moment of our lives. At this same time, G-d reviews the status of his creation and determines if he or she merits another year in this world.

over 8000 Ecards sent from Rosh HaShanah To Sukkot - Selection of Sukkot Cards to Choose - The word "Sukkot" means "booths," and refers to the temporary dwellings that we are commanded to live in during this holiday. The name of the holiday is frequently translated "The Feast of Tabernacles," - The festival of Sukkot is instituted in Leviticus 23:33 et seq. No work is permitted on the first and second days of the holiday. In honor of the holiday's historical significance, we are commanded to dwell in temporary shelters, as our ancestors did in the wilderness. The commandment to "dwell" in a sukkah can be fulfilled by simply eating all of one's meals. A sukkah must have at least three walls covered with a material that will not blow away in the wind.
