Limited Edition set of 12 limited edition .999 Fine Silver art
medals "Homage to Israel" commemorating the 25th Anniversary of
the State of Israel (1948-1973). These medals depicting the
Twelve Tribes of Israel were designed by Salvador Dali , and the
set was recognized by Abba Eban (letter included).
Each of the 12 Tribes of Israel
(Asher, Benjamin, Dan, Gad, Issachar, Joseph, Judah, Levi,
Naphtali, Reuben, Simeon and Zebulun)
are depicted on 12 individual Silver Medallic Coins, each
bearing an image created by Salvador Dali with the name of the
tribe. On the edge of each medal is the inscription "Medallic
Art Co, NY .999 + Pure Silver ," along with a serial number. All
serial numbers match. Salvador Dali's signature is inscribed
onto each medallion.
Each silver medallion coin is approx 2 inches in diameter with a
total .999 Fine Silver weight of 29.40 troy ounces.
The medallions come with the original wooden presentation case
with the 25th Anniversary Seal of Israel on the inside cover and
a blue velveteen interior. Also included is a letter from Abba
Eban and a pamphlet describing the medallions. |
